Government guidance continuously changes and is non-exhaustive, but we will continue to follow the guidelines and do our utmost to update as is required. We have paid special attention to the provision of hand hygiene facilities, including soaps and paper towels for hand washing and alcohol hand sanitizers. Tissues are provided, including teaching children about the need to catch sneezes. Our environmental cleaning has increased, especially the cleaning of toilets and frequently touched surfaces and objects. Please see Risk Assessment Procedures.

If your Child is ill

Should a child be on prescribed/non prescribed medication it is the responsibility of the parent to notify the center and to give full instructions regarding dosage etc. to allow a member of staff to administer the medicine. Pre-printed authorization/information sheets for medication are available from the Centre. Parents of children who require inhalers will need to write a letter giving clear instructions for their use and sign it. In the case of sudden illness/emergency and where we are unable to contact parents, circumstances may dictate that staff will have to use their own judgement about medical treatment and will contact the Station Medical Centre. Parents will continue to be traced to notify them. If children are displaying symptoms relevant to Covid-19, Parents/Carers will be called to come and collect them and follow procedures as per our Covid-19 Policy. Please see attached Policy.
